The society actively collaborates in the drafting and proposal of guideline documents, in partnership with other scientific societies and the Italian ministry of health.
Documents that SIRM publishes on its website are divided into three categories:
- Publication of regulations issued by the ministry of health
- Recommendations issued by health national organizations
- Statements, guidelines and documents issued by the society itself, some in cooperation with other scientific societies on main topics relevant to other scientific disciplines
